The Sunderland Agricultural Society
functions in accordance with its
constitution.
Meetings are held on the fourth Monday of
the month at 7:30 at the Sunderland Town Hall. In addition, there are many
active committees that work throughout the year to plan our fair's many
activities and exhibits. At the annual meeting held on the fourth Monday in
November, members enjoy a wonderful meal and the society selects its
executive officers.
New members are always welcome and there
are many volunteer tasks that call upon a variety of skills and talents.
Exhibitors at the fair must be
members of the Sunderland Agricultural Society. Annual membership is $6.00.
In addition to entitlement to participate as an exhibitor at the fair, the
membership card allows the holder free admission to the fair grounds
throughout the fair.
For those interested in the
promotion of such fairs as a celebration of the traditions of rural Ontario,
members of the Sunderland Agricultural Society are entitled to participate
in the activities of the
Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies. |
